John Davis' Journal

John Davis was a member of the South Australian Burke Relief Expedition under John McKinlay.
His journal was published in an edited form by William Westgarth in 1863 as :

Tracks of McKinlay and party across Australia by John Davis, one of the expedition.

Edited from Mr Davis' manuscript journal, with an introductory view of the recent Australia exploratons of McDouall Stuart, Burke and Wills, Landsborough etc, by William Westgarth.
