The Burke & Wills Mechanics Institute, Fryerstown , Victoria 3451.
The local inhabitants of the gold town of Fryerstown decided to build a memorial the Burke and Wills and raised the £300 in November 1861. The foundation stone was laid in mid 1863 and the Institute completed four months later.
